FIND A COMMUNITY TO GROW WITH
We believe that spiritual growth and relationships are best nurtured in the community. Groups are essential to who we are as a church. Find a group that's right for you and dive in!
WHO WILL BE IN MY GROUP?
Groups are spread around RVA so you can connect with people in your part of town. Some are multi-generational because we believe generations have a lot to learn from one another and we want to impact the places we live. We also have focus groups exclusive to men and women.
HOW LONG IS MY COMMITMENT?
Our yearly schedule is made up of three shorter blocks: Sept-Dec, Jan-March, and April-June. We make it easy for you to try a group for a few months and then decide. Although, we think you’ll love it and want to continue!
WHEN WILL WE MEET?
Most groups meet on weekdays, usually three to four times each month. We’ll let you know the full schedule well in advance
WHERE WILL WE MEET?
Groups can meet anywhere, even at the church itself. Some groups may want to move around to give people the opportunity to host a meeting in their home if they choose. But don’t worry -- there’s never any pressure to host or lead a group if you don’t want to.
WHAT WILL WE FOCUS ON?
Groups can dive deeper into the teaching from the West End weekend services, do topical studies or tackle different books of the Bible. There’s usually a discussion guide or book that will be given to you at the initial group meeting. This allows us to learn and grow together as we practically apply the teaching in the Bible.

NATHAN & JOEY HOSTETTER
The Hostetter's lead a mixed group where all are welcome. They meet on Thursdays at 6:30 PM in the West End. Send them an email if you are interested in joining!
WOMEN'S FOCUS GROUP
Regardless of your season of life—whether you’re single or married, with or without children, in the workplace, or caring for a family from home, young or less-young—we have a place for you! This group meets in the West End on Monday nights 6:30-8:00 PM. Send Shari an email if you are interested in joining!
Brendan and Rachel Horner
Sometimes evenings can be tough to manage - never fear, Saturday mornings are here! The pastoral resident and wife, Brendan and Rachel Horner, lead a group primarily at West End Church on these mornings. The group's location and timing can vary, so email if you are interested in joining. We take time to connect, discuss the previous Sunday's sermon, and pray.
